Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellation and refund requests are handled for Tatvagyaan School ERP services.

Tatvagyaan provides a school management software platform to registered schools. This policy applies to payments made directly to Tatvagyaan for platform subscription, service charges, setup charges, renewal charges, or other Tatvagyaan service-related payments.

This policy does not automatically apply to school fees or other amounts collected by a registered school from students, parents, or guardians.

1. School Fee Payments

If a parent, guardian, or student makes a payment towards school fees or any school-managed charge, the registered school is responsible for approving, rejecting, adjusting, or refunding such amount.

Tatvagyaan only provides the platform and payment reference support where online payment is enabled.

For school fee refund, fee cancellation, duplicate payment adjustment, or fee-related dispute, users must contact the registered school first.

2. Tatvagyaan Subscription Payments

Payments made by schools to Tatvagyaan for platform subscription, renewal, service access, or related services are subject to the package, plan, quotation, invoice, or agreement accepted by the school.

Once a subscription is activated, the payment is generally non-refundable unless specifically approved by Tatvagyaan in writing.

3. Cancellation by School

A school may request cancellation or discontinuation of Tatvagyaan services by contacting Tatvagyaan support.

Cancellation does not automatically cancel pending invoices, unpaid dues, active billing obligations, or charges already incurred before cancellation.

The school should take backup or export of required data before cancellation where such option is available.

4. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be considered only in limited cases such as duplicate payment, incorrect payment received by Tatvagyaan, technical billing error, or any other case approved by Tatvagyaan after review.

Refund approval is not automatic and depends on verification of payment details, service status, invoice status, and usage.

5. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are generally non-refundable:

Setup charges
Customization charges
Onboarding or training charges
Activated subscription charges
Renewal charges after activation
Payment gateway charges
Taxes and statutory charges
Third-party service charges
Charges for work already completed or delivered

6. Duplicate or Failed Transactions

If a payment is deducted but not updated successfully, the user should contact the school or Tatvagyaan support with payment details.

Duplicate payments, if verified, may be refunded or adjusted as applicable.

Failed transactions are usually handled by the payment gateway or bank according to their own timelines and policies.

7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds may take reasonable processing time depending on payment gateway, bank, internal verification, and settlement process.

Tatvagyaan is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party providers.

8. Payment Gateway Charges

Payment gateway charges, bank charges, convenience fees, taxes, or third-party deductions may not be refundable unless required by applicable rules or approved by Tatvagyaan.

9. Account Suspension or Termination

Tatvagyaan may suspend or terminate service access for unpaid dues, misuse, security issues, violation of terms, unlawful activity, or breach of agreement.

No refund will be provided for suspension or termination caused by misuse, violation of terms, or non-payment.
